While inspired by that framework, the terms below are specific to the content, audience, and workflow of Crazy Casey’s Customs.
My channel focuses on automotive fabrication and custom builds, welding and metal fabrication, machining and tooling, CNC plasma cutting, 3D printing and digital fabrication, metal casting, shop tools, and related technologies. Products considered must be relevant to this ecosystem and appropriate for a prosumer or light-industrial audience.
2. Editorial Independence
Acceptance of a product does not guarantee a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own. Reviews may include strengths, weaknesses, and comparisons to alternatives.
I do not allow approval of reviews prior to publication. If a preview is available, I may share it upon request; however, there will be no opportunity for revisions or approval. I frequently shoot, edit, and publish on the same day, so preview access may not always be possible.
3. Condition of Supplied Products
The primary item provided must be equivalent to what a regular customer would receive after purchase.
If I suspect an item has been specially prepared, modified, tuned, or optimized to ensure a favorable experience, I reserve the right to cancel the review or request a replacement item equivalent to standard retail stock.
4. Faulty, Damaged, or Underperforming Products
If an item arrives damaged, fails to function, or performs so poorly that the resulting content would be overwhelmingly negative, I will contact the company prior to publishing and offer the option to cancel the review or project inclusion.
If the company chooses to cancel and requests return of the item, the company must provide return shipping instructions and cover all associated shipping costs.
If no agreement is reached, I reserve the right to proceed with publication.
5. Timing & Release Schedule
Standard release timeframe for a review or project inclusion is 3–6 weeks unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Encountered issues, extended testing, or project scope changes may delay publication. Unless explicitly stated and mutually agreed upon, there is no guaranteed release date and no guarantee a video will be produced.
Companies and representatives are welcome to inquire about progress, and I will endeavor to respond in a timely manner.
For major issues discovered during testing, I will contact the company and seek direction on how they would prefer the issue handled.
6. Corrections
If I make a verified factual mistake regarding the technical capabilities or specifications of a product, I will delete the original video at the company’s request and/or provide options to overlay corrections within the original video. This applies to verifiable factual errors, not differences of opinion.
7. Liability
I will not be held liable for negative publicity, loss of sales, loss of investment, reputational impact, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from a review or project inclusion.
8. Media, Branding & Monetisation
The company name and product name may appear in the title, thumbnail, description, tags, and other metadata.
Product images and company logos may be used in thumbnails and throughout the video.
Links to sites where the product is sold may be included in the description and may be affiliate links, which is standard practice on technology-based YouTube channels.
Videos on Crazy Casey’s Customs are monetised via YouTube ads. All sponsorships or material provisions will be clearly disclosed.
9. Final Authority
The final editorial decision regarding whether a product is reviewed, how it is reviewed, what is included, and when it is published rests solely with Crazy Casey’s Customs. Maintaining audience trust is the highest priority. Provision of your product to Crazy Casey’s Customs for review constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
